Two expert sessions held consecutively, open to the public, will deepen the discussion around inclusivity with a special focus on digital rights and ethics.

Abstract 

With the advent of generative AI, AI has ushered in a new era of technological advancements, evolving into increasingly sophisticated and versatile tools. In addition, the integration of AI with hardware such as smartphones, robots, and vehicles is augmenting human capabilities in an unprecedented manner.

Now it is time to make efforts to share technological advances in AI with the world. We would like to discuss the four detailed topics below with international organizations, high-level government officials, global big tech, and academic scholars.



Topics 

• Integrating AI into the public sector: Highlighting recent AI use cases within public and administrative sectors, with a focus on (i) enhancements in public services, (ii) automation of governmental administrative processes, and (iii) fortification of citizen safety during disasters and emergencies.

• Solving global challenges: Discussing how AI could contribute to overcome the global challenges such as the climate change, public health risks, and energy and food problems, what roles should countries, companies, academia play.

• Improving the quality of human life: Envisaging the adoption of AI for the public good, with a focus on enhancing medical, educational and caregiving services for vulnerable groups such as the disabled and the elderly. Additionally, promoting international collaboration to ensure equitable access to and benefit from AI advancements.
